I’ve decided to swap home comforts for a night behind bars at Cardiff Prison to support the Mayor and Lady Mayoress’ charity appeal.
My Gran suffered with dementia, so it is deeply personal for me to support the Forget Me Not Choir, which provides a vital lifeline of song and community for those living with dementia. As an animal lover, I am also delighted to support the Rescue Hotel for Dogs, which works tirelessly to give neglected dogs a second chance at a happy life.
If a night in the cells helps provide the resources these charities need to continue their life-changing work, then I am more than happy to do the time!
