ABOUT
This is the personal website of the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Cardiff 2025/26, Cllr Adrian Robson. This website and all content contained within is delivered by Cllr Robson to help raise funds and awareness for his two chosen charities and to promote his work as Lord Mayor.
The Lord Mayor of Cardiff is the First Citizen of the City, representing Cardiff Council. The Lord Mayor often attends events and occasions that mark key moments for Cardiff and is responsible for chairing council meetings.

They also have a chosen charity or charities for their year in office. Read on to find out more about the two charities that I have chosen for my year.

CHARITIES OF THE YEAR
The Forget-Me-Not Chorus, which was initially established in Rhiwbina, brings the joy of singing to people living with dementia, and those who support them by organising singing sessions for people with all forms of dementia, as well as the families, friends and professional staff looking after them.

The Rescue Hotel is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to supporting the dogs at Cardiff Dogs Home and helps to improve the lives of rescue dogs by providing essential care, funding vital resources, and ensuring they have the best possible chance of finding loving forever homes.

As Lord Mayor of Cardiff, I will be attending a variety of events and engagements throughout the year.

GET INVOLVED
As the Lord Mayor of Cardiff, I will be helping to organise and attend several events to raise much needed funds and awareness for the two nominated charities. I have a wonderful team of volunteers who help make these events run smoothly. Whether it's managing the entire event itself, or simply managing the raffles, we have lots of things that we need help with. We are also so keen for individuals, businesses and organisations to host their own events which I will support where the diary allows.
